# Installation

Review hardware and operating system requirements.

Install Java 8.

Download installation files.

curl -O https://axibase.com/public/atsd.fin.latest.tar.gz
tar -xozf atsd.fin.latest.tar.gz

Start the database.

./atsd/bin/atsd-tsd.sh start
